# Attention

> Connect Attention to Minoa with an API key.

Connect Attention and Minoa pulls your call transcripts into every business case. Attention authenticates with an API key you generate in Attention and paste into Minoa.

  You need admin rights in Minoa to connect, and Minoa connects one recorder at a time. Disconnect any current recorder first.

## Connect Attention

<Steps>
  <Step title="Get your Attention API key">
    In Attention, click your profile avatar, open **Settings**, and under **Organization** select **API Keys**, then click **+ Create API Key**. The key is shown only once, so copy it right away. You need the Admin role for organization-level keys. See the [Attention API docs](https://docs.attention.com/api-authentication) for details.

  <Step title="Paste it into Minoa">
    In Minoa, go to **Settings → Integrations**, click **Attention**, and paste your API key.

  <Step title="Confirm the sync">
    Save to start the sync. Your recent calls show up in the context panel of your accounts and deals within a few minutes.

## Frequently asked questions

  <Accordion title="Should I create an org-level or user-level key?">
    Use an organization-level key so Minoa can see calls across your team. Org-level keys need the Admin role. A user-level key is scoped to just your own calls.

  <Accordion title="My API key isn't working">
    The key is shown only once at creation, so if you didn't copy it, create a new one. Confirm it's still active in Attention, then paste it into Minoa again.
