# Slack as deal context

> Attach Slack channels to an account or deal so Minoa can read them as context.

Attach Slack channels to an account or deal so Minoa can read the conversation and use it as context when it builds and refines business cases. Deal rooms, customer channels, and internal threads often hold the clearest signal of what your buyer cares about, and this brings that straight into Minoa.

## How it works

    Connect your Slack workspace to Minoa if you haven't already. See [Slack notifications](/pages/integrations/messaging/slack) for setup.

  <Step title="Attach a channel">
    Open an account or deal in Minoa and attach the relevant Slack channel from the context panel.

  <Step title="Let Minoa read it">
    Minoa uses the channel conversation alongside your other [deal context](/pages/integrations/introduction#bring-deal-context-into-minoa) when it drafts and updates business cases.

  Minoa only reads the channels you explicitly attach, and only what the connected account can already see in Slack.
