Minoa integrates with Google Drive so you can add the files that already live in Drive — proposals, pricing sheets, security answers, notes — and have Minoa use them when answering questions on a deal. Google only asks for access to the files you pick. The rest of your Drive stays private.

How It Works

You add files from the Context tab on a deal or an account.
  • Deal files — visible only on that deal. You need edit access on the deal.
  • Account files — used on every deal with that customer. Only an admin or the account owner can add them.
If a file is already on the account, you cannot add it again on a deal — the deal already reads it. Once a file is In use, Minoa uses it the same way it uses call transcripts and notes.

Adding Files from Google Drive

On a Deal

1

Open the Context tab

Open the deal and go to the Context tab.
2

Click Add from Google Drive

Google opens a picker titled Choose files for Minoa to read. Pick one file or several.
3

Grant access

Google asks once for the files you picked. Approve the request.
4

Wait until the file is In use

The row starts as Reading. When it flips to In use, Minoa can use it in answers.
File added. Minoa is reading it now.

On an Account

  1. Open the account and go to the Context tab.
  2. Click Add from Google Drive and pick the files.
  3. Every deal on that account can read them. You do not add them again per deal.
Pick a file, not a folder. Minoa cannot read a folder as a whole.

Removing Files

  1. Click Remove on the file row.
  2. Confirm Stop using.
Minoa stops using the file in answers. The file itself stays in Google Drive, untouched.
Minoa may still appear on the file’s share list in Drive. Removing a file in Minoa stops us using it — it does not revoke the Viewer added when you picked the file.

Troubleshooting

You need edit access on the deal (or admin / account-owner access to add files for the whole account). If you have that and still don’t see the button, contact support@minoa.io.
Your browser blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for app.minoa.io, then try again.
You may not have permission to share the file. Ask the owner to share it with you, then add it again.
Account-level files are already available on every deal. You do not add them again on the deal.

Security & Permissions

When you pick a file, Minoa adds a Viewer on that file only: minoa-google-drive@minoa-roi-firebase.iam.gserviceaccount.com
  • No domain-wide delegation
  • No “anyone with the link”
  • No access to folders, Shared Drives as a whole, or files you did not pick
Google’s picker is the consent screen. If IT reviews Drive sharing, they will see that Viewer on the files sellers choose to add.
