What this feature is used for

The multi-currency feature allows users to manage different currencies within the organization effectively. Administrators can set a default currency for the entire organization and users can specify a different currency for individual Accounts. This feature ensures that pages accurately reflect the designated currencies, providing a streamlined experience for sellers and buyers dealing with various currencies.

What currencies are supported

Minoa supports Australian Dollar (AUD), Brazilian Real (BRL), Swiss Franc (CHF), Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), Indian Rupee (INR), Japanese Yen (JPY), South Korean Won (KRW), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), Norwegian Krone (NOK), Philippine Peso (PHP), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Thai Baht (THB), and US Dollar (USD) out-of-the-box. Please contact us if you need to access additional currencies.

How this feature works

The feature operates by allowing administrators to set an organization-level default currency. If needed, users can define an account-level currency for specific Accounts. Business cases and Opportunities associated with an Account will utilize the account-level currency if specified; otherwise, the system defaults to the organization’s currency. This ensures that transactions are consistently represented in the desired currency.

How to use this feature

To utilize the multi-currency feature, start by:
  1. Open the Settings page by clicking on your profile icon (bottom left) and selecting Preferences, then configure the organization currency. Select from the available supported currencies: AUD, BRL, CHF, EUR, GBP, IDR, INR, JPY, KRW, MYR, NOK, PHP, SGD, THB, or USD. Note: only administrators can set the organization-level currency.
  2. For finer granularity, navigate to an Account page to set a specific account-level currency, which will override the organization’s currency for that Account. Choose the preferred currency among the supported options.
  3. Ta-da! You will now see the correct currency reflected on all business cases and Opportunities associated with the Account.
