Available Tools

Keep your analytics and reporting in sync by connecting manually created business cases to their corresponding Salesforce opportunities. Why this matters:
When sales teams create business cases directly in Minoa (outside of the automatic Salesforce sync), those cases aren’t automatically linked to their Salesforce opportunity records. This creates gaps in your reporting and makes it harder to track deal progress, forecast accurately, or analyze which business cases correlate with closed-won deals.
The Link Business Cases to Salesforce tool solves this by letting you connect these manually created cases to their Salesforce opportunities in batch, ensuring your data flows seamlessly between systems.

How it works

  1. Navigate to SettingsData Management
  2. Click Link Business Cases to Salesforce
  3. Review the list of unlinked business cases
  4. Match each case to its corresponding Salesforce opportunity
  5. Click Save Links to apply changes in batch
Once linked, business cases will automatically sync with their Salesforce opportunities going forward.

What gets synced

After linking, Minoa will:
  • Associate the business case with the Salesforce opportunity ID
  • Include the case in opportunity-level analytics and reports
  • Update metadata to reflect the connection
  • Enable bi-directional insights between Minoa and Salesforce
This is especially useful after migrating existing business cases or when multiple team members create cases for the same opportunity.

Best Practices

  • Audit before linking: Review your unlinked business cases regularly to catch any that need to be connected
  • Batch operations: Use these tools during off-hours or maintenance windows when possible to avoid conflicts
  • Verify connections: After linking, spot-check a few cases in Salesforce to confirm the sync is working correctly
